Open for all students across Australia who have a passion for video game culture and esports, the 2019 AEL University Cup provides a structured and well-governed tournament for aspiring players to prove their skills among their peers and against rival universities!
This event is sanctioned by the Australian Esports Association who have launched the AESA University Committee to provide student representation and governance oversight.
Players are invited to compete in any one of the following titles for a share in the AUD $19,000+* prize pool!
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Rocket League
- Dota 2
- Rainbow Six Siege
- Tekken 7**
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate**
Additional titles will be added over the course of the year with specific information to each game included.

Over the course of the competition, matches will be streamed three nights a week from the AEL Studio facility located in the Sydney CBD.
The AEL is also supporting additional career pathways for interested students to try their hands at live production, administration, refereeing and commentating.
